Missing Cat - Glebe Estate / Fraser Street

Dear AllMy cat went missing on Sunday evening in the Glebe Estate area / Fraser Street.She is called Alma and is a Maine Coon and looks like this photo - https://www.petplan.co.uk/pet-information/cat/breed/maine-coon/Please could people check their garden sheds in the Glebe Estate area.My cat lives within the Fraser Street / Quick Rd back gardens and doesn't travel outside this area usually.She may have jumped out of the back gardens and got lost or trapped.There is another very similar cat on Quick Rd that does roam which is confusing somewhat.But if people could pls check sheds and message me anytime if they see a confused Maine Coon, maybe take a photo and sent to me on whatsapp.Thank you very muchWill07973 548846

Mystery of disappearing & reappearing cars

I've parked my car in the same residents parking bays for years and recognise the other cars who use the same bays. From 23/3 these cars disappeared until last Monday when lockdown was relaxed, these cars have reappeared ! Although a couple did returned for short periods during lockdown.My question is were some Chiswick residents knowingly breaking lockdown ?I don't know the answer but perhaps others do.

Dogs barking before 7am

Can anyone recommend who we need to contact at Hounslow council about a neighbour who is allowing their dog to bark between 6am and 7am each morning? A number of us are living in an apartment block and have been persistently woken up by this barking.  We do not mind occasional barks in the day but before 7am is unacceptable;  All of our bedrooms are above where it happens and we feel it is unfair that our sleep patterns are dictated to by a dog owner.  We have made a log book of the times but are unsure of where to send them.Many thanks

Is it OK  now for parties and barbecues?

Not sure if the law has been relaxed for mear mortals like us (we're not all Dominic Cummings).Walking down Carlton Road W4, saw a party of people last night about 10pm coming out of 29 or 31 (nice pathway) saying 'thanks for the dinner and great evening'. Got in a car and drove away, obviously they were not at there house. The couple walked back in (tall guy with beard and middle aged lady). I'm miffed as a lot of us are trying to keep the nhs safe and others are just flouting the law

Small flowering climber - advice pls.

Here's a refreshing change from the glooms and dooms of Covid, economy and cyclists for the green-fingered of W4 and environs.  Suggestions for a pretty flowering compact climber, a rose perhaps, could add a clematis to twine through it or as a stand alone plant, but not much above 8 ft tall to grow up trellis against house wall.   Wall faces N/NE so gets morning sun until about noon.   Probably needs to be an evergreen so looks good in the winter months too.   Any suggestions more than welcome for new to gardening friend.   Thanks.

Amplifier repair

I have a faulty Orange guitar amp and a faulty Palladium one for a sound system. Can anyone recommend a local company (for as and when) or knows someone working from home twiddling their thumbs who knows what they’re doing? Thanks in advance. Used a great company out in Bucks in the past. Doesn’t seem like a goer at the moment obviously.

Can anyone remember this

My daughter cant believe that I cant remember this. A wine shop in that stretch of high road with Devco and the old Waitrose, next to clothes shop called Jaska. She says it had hanging sign outside with painting of purple dangling grapes, and (this bit I just cant see) a spiral staircase outside leading to the basement. Any ideas?

New Tree planting in Chiswick

Hounlsow Highways have planted new trees in the roads listed below. Obviously they will be maintaining them, but if you see them and think they look in need of water, please can you give them some water? I have more detailed OS points and types of trees if anyway wants them, so send me a direct message and I will send them on to you. Corney Reach jogger

To the man jogging mid morning today and barking at people to walk 'single file' even though we (& others) were - there are ways and means of making a request.Your swearing, foaming at the mouth and about to burst a blood vessel appearance could all be lessened with a simple change of approach. I'm unsure if your behaviour is related to your obvious support of West Ham. If so, your short fuse can be understood, albeit not excused.In the meantime it's perhaps advisable to modify your behaviour before a less generous personality takes a greater degree of Umbridge, after all I note that your speed seemed to increase when I stopped to have a social distancing chat with you about it...
