Missing Cat

Please keep a look out for a medium/longish haired Tabby cat.He has a very fluffy tail and is half Maine-Coon.He has not been seen since approximately 7.30pm on Saturday 30th September which is very unusual of him as he likes his food.He went missing from the Strand on the Green area, roads off Thames Road close to the shops.He answers to the name of Mauw and is very friendly and has never ventured out of his road- mainly keeps to back gardens.We are distraught and will offer a reward to whoever finds him.Many thanks.

Physiotherapist

Can anyone recommend a local physiotherapist, please? The GP has suggested that physio is what I need for the sciatica-like pain I've had since Sunday.I would be so grateful for any recommendations as I'm suffering quite badly with this pain.Any idea of costs would be appreciated.Thank you.

Sunak cancels HS2

Absolutely disgraceful, one of the richest countries in the world and we can't even build a railway. This country gave railways to the world, now we're reduced to the pathetic spectacle of something like a vanity project worthy of some third world dictatorship. No wonder the people living in the north of England are feeling like second class citizens. Of course having a P.M. who goes most places by plane what can you expect? Levelling up - really? Sunak talking about mismanagement of the project -  well who the hell has been in charge for the last thirteen years?

Planning Permission for Bike Shed

Has anyone gone down this route with Hounslow Council? I'd like to put a bike shed in the front garden but it needs planning permission - as (apparently) do all the wooden bin box houses that so many people have. Looks like the level of support documents are similar to having much bigger work done - making it cost prohibitive to go through the planning proces. Has anyone got experience of this?

190 and 533 buses on Friday afternoon

Was there an issue with these buses on Friday?We waited at Hogarth roundabout and could not see any buses due even though it appeared on the app that the 533 was leaving Hammersmith.We eventually caught a 190 to Richmond which may have turned at Hogarth roundabout as it was empty.

Green obsessed GB

At last our green obsessed government has woken up to the fact that sticking to the net zero target of 2035 is unsustainable.To quote Suella Braverman verbatim this morning "We are not going to save the planet by bankrupting Britain".This afternoon the PM will allow the sale of gas boilers, petrol and diesel cars, much to the relief of consumers and oil rig workers alike. The net zero target will be pushed back to the year 2050.I have no doubt that this prime ministerial volte face on energy output has another, secondary reason behind it: it should persuade many more electors to help keep the Conservatives in power.
