A warning from Ealing Today

A small notice has appeared mid week notifying that South Ealing Road will be closed at the junction of the A4 from Mon 23rd October to the 29th October.It seems this is Northbound entirely and heavily restricted southbound but open.No info from TfL at all on bus services or delays.Windmill road remains closed indefinitely however TfL enforcement cameras remain active now targeting vehicles turning left into a blind exit which is more often than not blocked. So beware.The diversion is lengthy and will add up to 50 mins on already constant daily delays to northbound 65 journeys from Brentford.The alternative detour route for larger vehicles, Swyncombe Ave remains blocked.No input from highways at both Ealing and Hounslow as usual.

As the last 'week.long' emergency road works overran by over a month, avoid the area. Local Hounslow councillor has gone on record stating that they had no advance notice. Shame that this was the same councillor who was instrumental in invoking a permanent closure of a viable diversionary route. The Cabinet Member for Transport is, once again silent. What does she do for her allowance of £35,000 plus?
