Dogs Trust are conducting a study in collaboration with the Acoustic Research Centre at the University of Salford to study dog behaviour in response to firework noises. Internet fraud.

A SERIOUS QUESTION. In 2019 Money Man Martin Lewis won a £3 million pounds settlement from Facebook for using his face and profile to defraud vulnerable people out billions of pounds. Yet every day dozens of these fake ads are still accepted by Facebook to rob the unwary. In 2021 alone  £11 billion pounds have been defrauded from people. WHY ARE THE POLICE OR OTHER AUTHORITIES UNABLE TO STOP IT. Stray Dog Found - 11th Dec 22

Good morning everyone. We currently have a stray Jack Russell cross in our care that was collected from Chiswick yesterday. PSPO Proposals for H&F parks

Hammersmith and Fulham are proposing a 3 year Public Space Protection Order for all parks including Ravenscourt Park and Wendell Park.It would impose restrictions on where dogs are allowed (including playgrounds but also cafés), add an on the spot fine for dog fouling and give enforcement officers the ability to impose an on-lead order for out of control dogs as well as limiting the number of dogs that can be walked at any one time.There is a consultation here:https://haveyoursay.lbhf.gov.uk/responsible-dog-ownership

Duke Road

I have avoided Chiswick High Road for as long as I can remember.  I walk up to M & S occasionally but rarely drive. Today my husband and I needed to collect something from the Glebe estate and came back on to the High Road via Duke Road.  What an absolute nightmare. It took two of us, looking both ways to check for cyclists, who came at slightly different intervals, one from one direction, one from the other.  Luckily it was just the two but the timing to get out was ridiculous plus trying not to sit across the cycle lane, well is that even possible to avoid?  I knew it was ridiculous from observing on foot but driving really shows up the stupidity of the scheme.
