Hammond Butchers

Does anyone know if Hammonds Butchers has closed for good? We heard that Ken was retiring. Went past this morning and shop was closed with no reference to re-opening. He wasn't the cheapest but always had good quality meat.

That would be a great shame. His son was working there and assumed he would continue after Ken retired.

Ken said recently that he only worked until midday. He tried to retire before and it didn't work. But they are normally open on Sundays so.....

Hammond butchers closed at the end of 2022.  Ken can now be found at Wyndham House, Chiswick.  I believe (but haven’t seen) that his son is at Wyndham House in Syon Park.

I wonder why with the amount of potential clients fro all the flats around Kew Bridge
