Stirling Rd dump booking

I’ve just tried to book a slot to take some garden waste, vainly hoping to do it today. There are no slots available for six days. Does anyone know why they changed from the queuing system? It seemed to work. Perhaps it was a traffic issue for the local businesses.

Another Air BnB Scam

Two young women have just knocked on my door having tried to get an answer at my neighbour's door.They said that they had rented the house (in Bedford Park) through Air BnB and had paid a £1,800 deposit.  They were expecting to move in today.  Now I know my neighbours (who weren't there), and I know they have never rented their property .  I am 99% certain they have no intention of doing so!  They also had photos of the interior of the house (which I know are false).These poor girls have just finished degrees in Nottingham and Birmingham and thought they were moving in today while they look for jobs down here.  Their "contact" is not answering the phone (surprise surprise)......

Chiswick Police Station

You may have noticed that Chiswick Police Station counter is open to report crime, Southfield Lib Dem Councillors are campaigning to keep the counter open permanently. The petition now has over 900 people who have signed and will be presented to the Mayor of London, and discussed at City Hall. Could you please help us get this over a 1000 by Wednesday. C-19 testing centres?

Most search based web sites I have ever used allow you to enter a distance you are prepared to travel figure. If there's nothing within that distance then you can increase it.Why can't the Testing system do that?  More un-joined up thinking?

Sofa Workshop

The showroom area was been completely cleared a few days ago and there are no signs of life.What's going on?On a more positive note, there is a lot of activity in the shop on the the corner of Dukes Ave by what looks like shop fitters.Let's hope it's going to be something useful, like an estate agent for example!😂😂😂

Hammersmith Bridge Debacle Explained

Judging by the article on the front page the main reason the bridge remains closed is that they have put former Watford and England manager Graham Taylor in charge of sorting it out. Him being deceased has appeared to have further limited his effectiveness.  Do I not like that!
