Lost Black Cat

Our black cat called Liquorice has been missing since the evening of Saturday 10th October. She does not usually go far from the house so we are worried. Please contact me if you have seen her. She is quite small and timid, she does not have a collar but she is microchipped. Thank you.jasonw36@live.co.uk

Keys found CHR

This morning I found some keys on the island near to the bed shop.  The bunch is quite big but has only 2 keys and the rest are holiday momentos.  There is also a medallion which might suggest the owner is a Sikh.

Lost diamond stud earring

My mum lost a small diamond stud earring set in yellow gold on Friday.  Likely to have been on Glebe St/Devonshire Road/M&S/Hogarth Health Club. If anyone finds one please let me know.  They were an engagement gift from my dad, 45 years ago  :-(

Accident in underpass on Fishers Lane

My partner has just come back from FL where it appears (emphasise) that a cyclist has been hit by a car. There was a car pulled up in the underpass and a cycle had been placed to the side of the road. There was a person in an ambulance and two police cars in attendance.Seems serious, though no idea of the casualty's condition.

What to do with an antique carving set?

Does anyone known what I can do or where I can donate an antique carving set in its original wooden box. It’s a lovely piece but EBay won’t take anything considered a weapon and I doubt the charity shop would either...? It would break my heart to throw it out but equally don’t have a use for it...

Question for our forum clairvoyant

Dear Mr Brown, you been very quiet about yesterday’s news re Donald Trump, another doubter now struck down with covid. I am very surprised you did not predict this, unless I missed it amongst you many posts. Now I am sure you and your conspiracy mates are frothing with all sorts of theories which you will no doubt tell us in a few months you predicted. So, come on, let us all into the future.See if he survives you will say, look I told you, he got a mild flu, wake up you fools, or if is more serious, you will say there was a Mossad, KGB and China collaboration who highjacked  AirForce 1 and replaced it with an infected replica to infect Trump. Either way we all fools. Oh and Bill Gates will be installed as President after a coup. Over to you and we are all anticipating your response.

Applying for a residents parking permit

Hello community, I wonder whether anyone else is having problems with the parking permit process on hounslow.go.uk.  I have now been trying for over a week to purchase a residents permit, but I am continually directed to a page that is blank, and which has inactive links.  I have received no reply from the council or serco (who they have outsourced this service to) and am at a loss for what to do. Any advice gratefully received. Maria
