Rumblings
There are already theories as to just how we are all going to pay for the country's heavy expenditure when working our way out of the current situation. Ideas already being touted are again holding down public sector pay and cuts to public sector services! Have we learned nothing? These have borne the brunt of the austerity years getting the banks out of the cack, but we also know that but for these people and services our current situation would have been far, far worse. There seemed to have been a general acceptance that the formerly called 'low skilled' (low paid) workers, supermarket workers, dustmen, street cleaners, bus drivers, sewage workers, delivery drivers, fruit and veg pickers, posties, are the essential people to us getting by for the last couple of months, along of course with our emergency services and NHS. Is the government really thinking that they should once again bear the brunt of bailing this country out?If we've learned anything surely it is that so many people are vital to us being able to have decent, comfortable lives and that we should appreciate and value them?
