Eating out / in

Without enquiring of each, will anyone tell me of Oriental restaurants in Chiswick whom I can call to order food and collect / get delivered? Not expecting to be available every evening. Just some change from the usual tedium! Thanks.

Jeffrey, have you tried Deliveroo? If you want to take a look, then Google Deliveroo, enter your postcode at their site and you can see who’s sending out deliveries, what the delivery charge is etc at any given time. You can also order quick grocery deliveries from the CoOp and M&S from the garage express store.

The Strand Cafe is doing Thai take aways. You order for a certain time to pick up so they have the food freshly cooked and there's no queuing. They are only cooking the number of meals they would normally serve in the restaurant so that the quality is maintained. The food has been great and a great treat on Friday nights!

And here's the list of who is doing what, including restaurants, as published on chiswickw4.com from time to time. It was updated a few days ago but already needs more updates to be added (which I will pass on later today I hope). http://www.chiswickw4.com/default.asp?section=info&page=coronachiswickshopping002.htm

If you fancy something that isn't Oriental or Pizza we had Cote-at-home the other day and it was outstanding.Effectively ready meal from their restaurant menu. They deliver and you stick in oven for 20mins. Huge portions, excellent quality and reasonable.Maybe not a take away but 20mins in oven is not such a hardship.
