Carol Vorderman

Just in case any of you ladies out there missed the following article from the Sun, this is how she keeps in shape."In the photo, Carol wore reflective sunglasses while soaking up the rays, dressed in a tiny string bikini top that barely covered her chest. She had a brown sarong tied around her slender waist, with the star's long legs already looking tanned as she stretched them out on a towel. Her lower body workout consists of goblet squats, (available on line I believe, or you could try Robert Dyas), forward lunges and gluten raises with burpees in between exercises if she's feeling up to it.To craft a strong core she does leg raises, side oblique dumbbell raises with glut raises, reverse crunches and a plank as extras. The upper body day consists of shoulder press pyramids and frontal deltoid raises. She added that she also "walks about 7 miles a day and 3 circuits a week".So there you are! Might I suggest a couple of goblet squats to start with, followed by 3 frontal raises, and if you want to progress further in order to craft a strong core, then one or two leg raises spring to mind. As for the side oblique dumbbell raises together with glute raises, this could be problematic for those of you of a certain age, and is therefore to be avoided. As regards reverse crunches and a plank as extras, this should only be done under supervision at all times. Forward lunges and glute raises with burpees in between exercises, should only be undertaken with an ambulance on either standby or speed dial.
