e-scooter survey from Hounslow and Ealing

Had a postcard through the letter box inviting me to fill in a survey for the two local authorities, and offering £5 as an incentive. QR code on the postcard to make it easy. Seems a bit odd, and neither authority known for lavishing cash on Chiswick. Also no mention of the initiative on the LA website. Conclusion: it's probably a SCAM so beware folks if you get one.

Now at a stage where all unusual mail is treated as a scam.

Agreed Janice. We are suspicious about almost everything and treat all as if could be a scam. What a sad state of affairs !

Not a scam IMHO.At the end they offer Amazon, M&S or a donation to Macmillan Cancer Charity, which I thought was a nice touch.Pretty well thought through - although it does have a "trick" question in it!  You'll know it when you see it :-)

Thanks Ed - you're a braver man than me. Do you have to give your bank account details or suchlike? For what it's worth, I think the scooters are a menace. Fast, silent, and ideal for such tasks as snatching iphones and handbags. I'll wait a bit and maybe add my voice. Odd that there isn't anything on the website though.
