How to make a formal complaint about the ridiculous traffic in and around Chiswick.

I am looking to write a formal complaint about the ridiculous amount of traffic in and around South Parade, Acton Lane, Chiswick High Street and the M4 overpass.. it’s become a complete joke. It causes more pollution, it is killing individuals freedom of movement and productivity. Would anyone suggest who this should be addressed to.

Cook chiswick

I have always thought Cook was good.  Sadly even though the taste of their meat dishes are still good, sadly the amount of meat and chicken in the dishes have been slashed.  I asked why and was told they are trying to keep prices down.  I understand that but when you buy a meal for 2 or 4 you need to be able to feed 2 or 4 people ! I do hope they take this on board.  The lamb casserole for 1 today had 3 small pieces of lamb.

Indian Take Away Recommendations

Friday night is curry night.I was wondering which take away / delivery places the forum contributors like.I want a fairly old school Indian with lamb bhuna, prawn korma and chicken madras type dishes available.Prefer to ring and have them deliver using their own vehicles rather than a deliveroo / uber eats / just eat set up.Prefer to pay a bit more for decent quality.Any ideas?

Parking at Gunnersbury Park

Gemini and YPay became responsible for collecting charges for parking at Gunnersbury Park in May. Since then, very many people have been charged on days they didn't park and been sent demand for non payment for days on which they'd paid and some have had demands from debt collectors for charges that have been paid. A young woman who works at Gunnersbury Museum is now working almost full time to deal with this nonsense. Anyone else suffering from this incompetence?

Has South Parade closure been cancelled?

Does anybody know if the closure of South Parade that was announced for next week is still going ahead? I've looked on the roadworks.org site and only the work relating to the pavements and kerbs is mentioned which doesn't require any closure. It would be sensible to postpone it because the A4 works has overrun but  Ealing Council could tell people about what is happening. A good way to reduce congestion at little cost is to keep people informed about possible disruption.

Hartington Rd/Staveley Rd restrictions

I have today received a letter from TFL saying that the A4 roadworks are taking longer than anticipated and extending the work until 5th November (I think the last message said they were planned to end on October 23rd).  My question is, will the easing of restrictions on Hartington/Staveley also be extended for traffic returning home to Chiswick from the Richmond area?

Diversion Route for South Parade Closure?

With no word from Ealing Council on this it looks like they are determined to proceed with the closure of South Parade despite the fact that the A4 westbound lane closures are extended through the half term.Do we know yet what the official diversion route will be - the choices seem to be left on TGT along CHR to rejoin Acton Lane or right up The Avenue, along Southfield Road and then left onto Acton Lane? Neither seem particularly palatable but the latter is probably the worst because it will inevitably result in people trying to bypass the queues by cutting through residential back streets in Acton Green and Bedford Park.Is there a protocol among councils in which it is seen as bad form to divert traffic to another borough, therefore Ealing will feel obliged to take the worst option for their residents?
