Were you in or near McCluskey's Night Club


on th night of 27th July or early hours of the 28th?

On Sunday 31st July the body of James Edward Clark, a 19 year old student was found in the river Thames in Kingston.

James (pictured below) was last seen in the early hours of Thursday 28th July at about 02:00 leaving McCluskey's nightclub in Kingston where he had been enjoying a night out with friends.

James ClarkHe was white, 19 years old, 6'00" tall, stocky build with short blond hair. He was wearing blue jeans and a long sleeved black shirt with distinctive light coloured writing across the back.

James' family and police are anxious to know what happened to James on that night and are appealing for information from anyone who may have been in Kingston near the river in the early hours of Thursday 28th July between 0100 hours and 0400 hours and seen James or anything unusual.

A postmortem held at Kingston mortuary gave cause of death as drowning. An inquest will open in due course (date to be fixed).

Although there is no evidence at this stage to suggest the death was suspicious we are keeping an open mind and are investigating all the circumstances surrounding the incident.
