on th night of 27th July or early hours of the 28th?
On
Sunday 31st July the body of James Edward Clark, a 19 year old student
was found in the river Thames in Kingston.
James (pictured below) was last seen in the early hours of Thursday
28th July at about 02:00 leaving McCluskey's nightclub in Kingston where
he had been enjoying a night out with friends.
He
was white, 19 years old, 6'00" tall, stocky build with short blond
hair. He was wearing blue jeans and a long sleeved black shirt with distinctive
light coloured writing across the back.
James' family and police are anxious to know what happened to James on
that night and are appealing for information from anyone who may have
been in Kingston near the river in the early hours of Thursday 28th July
between 0100 hours and 0400 hours and seen James or anything unusual.
A postmortem held at Kingston mortuary gave cause of death as drowning.
An inquest will open in due course (date to be fixed).
Although there is no evidence at this stage to suggest the death was suspicious
we are keeping an open mind and are investigating all the circumstances
surrounding the incident.
