Vicious assult in St George's Park


Police appeal for witnesses

Police in south west London are appealing for witnesses to a vicious assault on a man in St. George's Park, Wandsworth SW18 during the Sanex Beach Party.

The incident occurred at approximately 19.30 on Saturday 18 June 2005.

During the course of the evening an altercation developed between two men. One of them took out a knife and slashed the other down the side of his face and walked away.

PC Adele Davies from Wandsworth Police said, "This appears to have been a vicious, unprovoked attack and we would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed it."
