The Split - men behaving badly
As a bit of light relief from pandemics, supermarket shortages etc has anyone else just watched the last episode of this? I found it both compelling and repulsive. Almost all the male characters were utterly loathsome but especially Christie - such petulance and narcissism, it’s hard to see how Hannah could have given him the time of day, good sex or not. And then there’s Zander and his horrendous husband. Yucch. Of all the male leads for me only Nathan evoked a little sympathy. But having said this the female characters were scarcely more appealing.Of course this very dark portrayal of the legal world probably has no more relation to the real world of family law than say Holby City or Casualty, but it can’t have done much good for the image of the legal profession!
