Strand on the Green- businesses on the brink
It is terribly sad to hear about how the businesses are struggling, but it comes as no surprise. We used to visit Strand on the green regularly – city barge, the Cafes, the Bull etc., but now we don’t come any longer. We don’t understand which roads we can drive down, we don’t understand the parking restrictions and we can’t risk getting a fine. I miss the area terribly. When will Hounslow council own up to the damage they have inflicted upon Chiswick, and reverse this insane measures? They are nothing but a cynical money spinning exercise and they benefit no one but the council.
