A Southfields pub has a new look after £278,000 was invested in giving it a major upgrade.

The Gardeners now has a new bar, seating and dining area.

It will continue to be managed on behalf of Punch Pubs by Tracey and Patrick Phelan, a couple from a rich heritage of publicans, giving them a wealth of experience. This has allowed them to help bring the new-look pub to life and with the aim of transforming it into a modern, welcoming, and comforting space that combines traditional elements with contemporary design.

Tracey and Patrick, who pride themselves on operating authentic family-run pubs, have assembled a team that includes several of their relations.

The pub now offers a new menu providing guests with an eclectic mix of pub classics and light bites as well as Sunday roasts.

With spring fast approaching, Tracey and Patrick are placing the finishing touches on an extended, much-improved outdoor area that will add additional seating and space for longer days and lighter nights.

Sharing her excitement of the reopening, Tracey said, "We are thrilled to relaunch the pub and share the results of its extensive refurbishment. Having grown up in and around pubs, we’re extremely passionate about providing excellent service and hospitality to our guests. The investment from Punch has allowed us to create a fabulous welcoming, family-friendly environment for all to enjoy.”
