Putney Property Prices Latest
Increased turnover in May brings relief for estate agents
Further confirmation of a Spring recovery in the local property has appeared with the publication of the latest Land Registry data on transactions in the area.
The number of homes changing hands is well up on previous months.
The average price of an SW15 property during May was £435,656 which is down on April but comparable to levels seen in the first quarter. The average may have been slightly reduced by the inclusion in a number of sales from a flat development in Putney Hill.
For London has a whole the average property price for May was £296,938 down by 0.1% on the previous month and 15.6% over the year. This was the thirteenth month in a row that prices have fallen.
