Starmer really setting the stage for big tax rises everywhere
If he is right it will not soften the blow, a lot of companies are really struggling, hospitality etc. first the pensioners, then bus fares, VAT on private schools, it feels like everything is going to be targeted except for working people whatever that means. Labour are coming across as the old Labour Party, at least the younger working generation will get to see how Labour operates. Not sure how big tax rises across the board is going to help investment and growth. I forgot Union power is behind it all and public service so forget hard working people in the private sector who fund public services. All will be revealed on Wednesday, helmets on.
