HSBC

I went to Chiswick HSBC yesterday- it was closed as was their post box- does this mean that yet another bank is closing? What on earth is happening in Chiswick?

£20 e-vouchers - free ShopLocal voucher initiative

Mine just came through the post today. Isn’t this a crazy idea to give it to every household in the borough. Wouldn’t it be better to target the money to those who need it? Is there any way we can donate them to a worthy cause?

Duck Pond Market at CHG tomorrow?

Is there a Duck Pond Market at CHG tomorrow? Thought it might be a bit tight what with the Pub In The Park later in the day and all this and that but thought I would ask. Thanks! x

Hotmail collapse

The hotmail account on my computer has suddenly collapsed. Many posts have disappeared, and the latest date for which I have a message is May 5th. Strangely, on my mobile phone it is still completely up-to-date. Can anyone suggest how I might rectify it?

Thames Water - water meter ‘compulsory’ installation

We’ve just received a letter and leaflet that says water meters are coming. We have resisted having one so far, but this implies it is now compulsory as we are in a ‘seriously stressed water’ area. Has anyone else received this, and is that the case that we will have to accept the installation? Thanks
