Police seek witnesses to vicious assault that occured on Chiswick High Road
A man is wanted by Chiswick Police in connection with a vicious attack on Saturday 28th February.
The incident occured at 12.30am on the Chiswick High Road near the junction with Turnham Green Terrace. A white male armed with a glass bottle attacked a 31 year old male resulting in a gash to his chin and a fractured jaw.
Police believe the suspect was with a larger group of people before the incident occured are are anxious to trace anyone who witnessed the attack.
The suspect is described as a white male, aged approx 17 – 20 years old, slight build, 5’5” – 5’6”, short dark hair, wearing a green corduroy jacket.
DS Christopher Langwade of Hounslow CID said, “This appears to be an unwarranted attack on a passer by one member from a wider group. The victim has received some pretty severe injuries.
"Those with the attacker must have seen what has happened. As serious as this assault was, I believe that it could have been far worse. I’m looking for that one phone call from someone in the group to say what happened and who was responsible. This can’t be allowed to happen again”.
