Nearly three thousand pounds has already been donated to an online fundraising campaign set up to help the family of Brian Constance.

The 48-year-old Chiswick resident died in Charing Cross Hospital on 12 January after being found collapsed on Turnham Green. The police are continuing to investigate the cause of death describing the circumstances as unexpected.

His friends have organised a GoFundMe campaign with the aim of covering some of the travelling costs of Brian’s family who live in South Africa.

Those who knew him say he was cherished for his vibrant personality, unique sense of style, and wicked sense of humour. In the 1990s, he was a key figure in Durban’s rave scene, often modelling bespoke outfits that showcased his creativity. Friends remember him as a kind, loving soul who brought joy, laughter, and a spark of magic to those around him. His passing is a huge loss to his siblings and his many friends and loved ones.

As well as assisting with travel expenses, funds raised will help cover the costs of Brian's funeral and memorial. At the time of writing, £2,712 has been raised towards the £4,000 target
