Found dead at residential property on the High Street

A fifty-year-old man has been found dead on Tooting High Street this Monday afternoon (26 March).

The police were called to a residential address at around 2.45pm by concerned neighbours. After initial investigations they forced entry and found the body of the man who apparently had been stabbed. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command have launched a murder investigation. They believe they know the name of the victim, but enquiries are still underway to locate next of kin.
