Justine Greening accepts 565 signatures from Wandsworth residents
More than 42,000 people nationwide have signed a petition against proposed government changes to the NHS. The 38 Degrees organisation, which hope signatures will top the 50,000 mark, says that these changes "would break the NHS up", and is calling for people to send a message to the Government's NHS listening exercise for the plans to be dropped.
Last Saturday, Wandsworth residents Kalpana Chauhan and Valerie Abl, handed in the local petition to MP Justine Greening, and they both attended the national petition hand-in to Andrew Lansley at the Department of Health in Whitehall yesterday.
