Soak up the magic of the festive season at Wandsworth Museum’s first-ever Christmas Fayre. With a festive food market and a good choice of unique and original gifts, decoration and food ideas, a great day’s shopping is being proffered.
Avoid the crush of the high street and support what are being promised as some of Britain’s most talented craftspeople, who will be offering such traditional treats as gourmet preserves and hand-made cakes as well as unusual Christmas present ideas. Order organic free-range turkeys or your Christmas tree, sample delicious hog roast and warm mince pies, sip soothing glasses of mulled wine as you explore the distinctive wares on show.
Children are welcome at the Fayre with a special invitation to a Wandsworth Christmas Carol. The ghosts of Wandsworth’s past, present and future eagerly await with merry tales of Christmas cheer and a variety of activities for all ages.
