Free Maiastra Concert At The Musical Museum

Programme includes Haydn and Shostakovich

A free concert is taking place at the Musical Museum next Friday, 14 December, organised by Maiastra, the Trust which provides funding for young musicians to study chamber music.

The Musical Museum is at 399 High Street, Brentford TW8 0DU.

Haydn String Quartet in D minor, Op. 103
Shostakovich String Quartet No. 3 in F major, Op. 73
Dvorák String Quartet in G major, Op. 106

Performers

Arisa Fujita - violin
Marike Kruup - violin
Nic Hughes - viola
Kieran Carter - cello

There will be retiring collection in aid of the Aidan Woodcock Charitable Trust which provides training and support for young players.

An hour before the concert, the Musical Museum will be opening its galleries to the audience for a private pre-concert viewing and a demonstration of some of the exhibits. Refreshments available before the performance and during the interval.
