Hounslow Council Condemn Manchester Terror Attack
Flags at Civic Centre will fly at half mast as a mark of respect
The terror attack in Manchester has been condemned by Hounslow Council.

Hearn, Leader of Conservative Group, Hounslow Council:
“Following the horrific terror attack in Manchester last night,
[Monday], we would like to express our deepest sympathy on behalf of everyone
in the borough, to the family and friends of all those killed and injured.
“This is another senseless attack, but we must all stand together
as one community in the face of adversity. The flags outside the Civic
Centre will fly at half-mast as a mark of respect to all those affected
by this tragedy.
“We encourage all our residents to remain vigilant and calm. If
you see anything that causes you concern or raises your suspicions, please

Cllr Steve Curran said he would like to reassure residents, that the
council is working closely with the Metropolitan Police during this difficult
time.
“I spoke to Raj Kohli, Hounslow Police’s Borough Commander
earlier today and he has informed me that there are extra visible police
officers on patrol across Hounslow. Residents should remain calm but vigilant
at all times.

“Flags at the Civic Centre have been flying at half-mast today as
a mark of respect and we will be holding a minute’s silence at the
Annual Meeting of the Council/Borough Council this evening to remember
victims of this horrific attack.”
