Hanlon absconded after being released from prison for treatment
A two month long police hunt for a violent drug user with multiple convictions for burglary has end with his arrest.
Police say David Hanlon, 35, was arrested last week at an address at Beaumaris Tower, London W3, in connection with a shoplifting offence committed on February 8.
On December 20, 2009 Hanlon was released from prison on temporary licence to undergo therapy at a drug treatment facility, which he failed to attend and subsequently absconded. He has over 30 previous convictions for burglary and he is also known to be a violent drug user with previous associations with firearms.
Hanlon, was known to frequent Ealing, Hammersmith and Fulham.
