A major police operation has seen 15 people arrested mainly in the Shepherd's Bush area in two separate swoops on what the police have described as 'crack houses'.
The operation was conducted over two days (Tuesday, 14 and Tuesday, 28 June) and involved a number of officers from Hammersmith and Fulham’s Proactive Gangs Unit which is part of Central West Basic Command Unit.
The police say it is part of a large-scale operation to reduce violent crime in Hammersmith and Fulham.
Seven men were arrested this Tuesday (28 June) after ten warrants were simultaneously executed in the early hours of the morning.
During the searches officers recovered a large quantity of Class A drugs and a significant amount of cash suspected to be the proceeds of crime.
Those arrested were taken to a central London police station.
The raids are a culmination of a year-long investigation which focused on identifying and apprehending suspects involved in drug supply offences in the Hammersmith and Fulham area.
Seven men and one woman were arrested in a similar early morning operation on Tuesday, 14 June. They have since been charged with drugs offences.

Detective Inspector Dan Langton, who led the operation, said, “This was a proactive operation which is integral in reducing violent crime. We know drugs are inextricably linked to a high proportion of the violence in London and we will continue to target those who deal drugs and target the most vulnerable within our communities.
“Those who deal drugs should know we are constantly on the lookout for you.”
