The development at 5-9 Tonsley Place was also commended in the Best Small
Housing Development category.
The council's planning applications chairman Ravi Govindia said:
"We are seeing some excellent examples of modern design in many of
the developments going up around the borough. For Wandsworth to have four
winners in a national competition shows just how keen housebuilders are
to provide a quality product for local people."
The Council have informed us that the rate of new housebuilding in Wandsworth
is currently at record levels with almost 2,000 homes completed last year.
The
figures also show a further 5,400 homes on the way including 2,500 dwellings
at 75 sites where construction has already started.
