One night only following sell-out run at Soho Theatre
Comedians have become the new 'Pop Stars' and don't they know it. Unreliable. Unruly. Unpredictable. So we have decided to branch out and look for the Outstanding, the Surprising and the Innovative. First up for 2011 are the brilliant musical comedy duo Bourgeois and Maurice

A musical duo with style as sharp as their wit, Bourgeois and Maurice have racked up an impressive host of performances at the Royal Opera House,  the Edinburgh Fringe and a sell-out run at Soho Theatre and they will be at Watermans for just one night. So if you like your comedy sharp and slick and entertaining don't miss it

With comparisons ranging from Leigh Bowery to Liza Minnelli and Flight of the Conchords, Bourgeois and Maurice demand to be seen.

"Technically, they are excellent, with original songs that are musically rich, a robust sense of theatre and a ‘camply’ outrageous fashion sense that makes Lady Gaga look like Miss Selfridge. With sultry malcontent Maurice on piano and the preening Bourgeois providing vocals and attitude, they look and sound fabulous. They seem to aspire to be the bastard grandchildren of Noel Coward." Steve Bennett.
