Plans already set for 2015 event
The Wandsworth Friends of Trinity Hospice Christmas Fair presented a cheque to Trinity Hospice for £22,700 on Friday 27th February. This was raised at their annual Christmas Fair held at St Luke’s Church in November 2014.
The cheque was presented by the Chair of the Wandsworth Friends of Trinity Christmas Fair, Lucinda Harding-Rolls, and Sam Sproston of Knight Frank who are the main sponsors of the Christmas Fair to Dallas Pounds, CEO of Trinity Hospice.
Dallas said, “Thank you to the Wandsworth Friends of Trinity Hospice Christmas Fair committee, the stall holders and shoppers for raising enough to fund a Trinity nurse for 6 months! Every year the fair is such a success and we already looking forward to doing our Christmas shopping there again this year.”
This year the Fair will again be held at St Luke’s Church, 194 Ramsden Road, London SW12 8RQ. The dates for your diary are Tuesday 17th and Wednesday 18th November 2015.
The Fair offers many original stalls selling gifts, toys, books, beauty products, jewellery, fashion and pet accessories. There is a Silent Auction to take part in and bid for some fabulous items, or buy a ticket for the Christmas Lucky Dip, with prizes up to the value of £25.
Lucinda Harding-Rolls said, “Trinity is the oldest surviving hospice in the UK and each year provides specialist care for over 2,000 terminally ill patients in central, and south-west London. The Christmas Fair raises important funds for this wonderful local charity, which needs to raise £7 million each year to continue its vital work in the community. We are aiming to raise £25,000 this year. So put the date in your diary now and come and support this great cause!”
