Trinity Hospice to open new shop on Gloucester Road
Clapham based Trinity Hospice is opening a new shop at 28A Gloucester Road, SW7 4RB, to help fund its work supporting terminally ill people and those close to them in central and south west London.
The shop, which will focus on selling high quality designer wear, will open just after Easter with a special launch evening on Tuesday 7 April. During the launch week, the shop will be stocked full of new, unworn items from top end brands like Hugo Boss and labelled designer wear.
Trinity is the only dedicated end-of-life care provider for 750,000 people living in central and south west London. It’s services are available to people living across the tri-borough area, making it the local hospice for Gloucester Road. Trinity offers inpatient, outpatient and community care – all provided completely free of charge.
Trinity’s Shops Director Barry Moles said, “We are absolutely delighted to open a shop specialising in designer wear in such a fantastic area of London and we can’t wait to meet local supporters. Please come and join us during our launch week to browse for a bargain and support a fantastic cause that benefits the local community.”
Trinity now has 24 charity shops throughout its catchment area that bring in vital income - over £3 million annually – for the hospice. Trinity receives less than a third of its funding from the NHS and must raise £7 million every year in order to continue to provide its services free of charge to terminally ill people and those close to them.
