Cycle, Run or Swim for Royal Trinity Hospice

Three brand new challenges to help raise funds for vital end of life care

Cycle, Run or Swim for Royal Trinity Hospice

Royal Trinity Hospice is launching three brand-new challenge events for September 2017. Charity places are available for the London to Brighton Bike Ride, Rough Runner and Swim Serpentine challenge events taking place on the 16th and 17th September 2017.

Trinity is inviting supporters to cycle, run or swim to raise money to help fund the vital end of life care they provide in the local community. The varied programme of challenge events includes a 56-mile cycle starting from opposite the hospice in London to Brighton, an obstacle-course combining distance running with hurdles such as sweeper arms and “the mighty travellator” and an open water swim around the Serpentine in Hyde Park.

Ben Ansell, Head of Fundraising, said ‘With three different challenges to choose from, there’s never been a more exciting time to join Team Trinity. Taking part in a challenge event is a really fun way to support the care Trinity provides. Whether you want to get in shape for summer, take on an exciting challenge with your friends or simply raise money for a great local cause, we should have something for you!"

As a charity, Trinity receives only a quarter of its funding from the NHS. This means it must raise £9 million each year in order to continue providing its vital services, free of charge, to 2,500 patients and their families in this area.

Each Trinity challenge participant will be provided with ideas, materials and support to help fundraise and train for the challenge. Find out more at www.royaltrinityhospice.london/events or contact Trinity fundraiser Phil Cuthell by calling 020 7787 1088.
