Orpheus Sinfonia perform a programme of festive pieces
The hour long concert on Wednesday 10th December will take place in Trinity’s outpatient centre, Mulberry Place, overlooking Trinity’s award-winning gardens. Starting at 2pm, guests will enjoy a specially chosen programme of festive pieces and hear the fascinating stories and inspiration behind them, accompanied by tea and cake. Patients and members of the community are all welcome.
The Orpheus Sinfonia, under the artistic direction of Thomas Carroll, has established itself as one of the most vibrant, dynamic and inspiring young orchestras. It was founded in 2008 by the Orpheus Foundation to provide opportunity and support for exceptionally talented young musicians emerging from study into the profession. The orchestra attracts the very best of music conservatoire graduates, forming an elite group of performers excelling in artistic distinction.

Trinity is the UK's oldest hospice, providing the only dedicated end-of-life care service for 750,000 people living in central and south west London - each year 10,000 of these people will find out that they have a terminal illness. It costs £10 million to run Trinity each year, but just 31% of its income is from the NHS. Trinity must raise over £7 million in charitable donations and legacies each year to provide the specialist end-of-life care its community relies upon.
