Trinity Hospice’s Country Fayre Raises Over £9000

With a day of sunshine and fun for all ages

Trinity Hospice opened its award-winning gardens on Sunday 28 June and invited the community to come and enjoy a slice of country heaven in the city at its annual Country Fayre.

Visitors had the pick of a hog roast, pancakes, vegetarian food from Social Pantry, and a Pimm’s bar on the day. Adults & children had plenty of entertainment to choose from, including a coconut shy, bouncy castle, petting farm and hook-a-duck. One particularly popular attraction was face-painter Jules, who filled the garden with everything from butterflies and lions to Spider-Man!

Head of Fundraising Anna MacLeod said:
“Our Country Fayre is a great opportunity for local people to learn more about Trinity Hospice and show their support whilst enjoying our beautiful gardens. All of the money raised at the Fayre helps us to continue providing our services free of charge for terminally ill people in central and south west London. We rely on the support of local people to help us raise £7 million every year to continue our vital work.”

This year the Country Fayre raised over £9,000 - Trinity would like to thank sponsor Knight Frank, whose generosity meant that every penny raised on the day could go towards supporting Trinity's nurses. Trinity would also like to thank everyone who was involved in making the day a success, including staff, volunteers, stall holders and everyone who attended.
