Catch the classic cinema great at the Trinity Hospice Summer Cinema
This July, one of London’s most unique open-air cinema events returns to London; Trinity Hospice’s outdoor cinema screening in Clapham.
Now in its sixth year, the popular cinema is an opportunity for film buffs to enjoy a classic film under the stars against the beautiful backdrop of Trinity’s award winning gardens – all whilst supporting a great local cause!
Local charity Royal Trinity Hospice is screening the classic hit ‘The Wizard of Oz’ in their award-winning gardens in Clapham on Thursday 21st July 2016. Doors open at 6.30pm and the film will start shortly after sunset. Tickets cost £15 for adults and £7.50 for under 14s and all profits go to Trinity.
The garden will host a licensed bar and a number of snack stalls for the evening, including Haagen-Dazs and Harry’s Chocolate Emporium. There will also be a raffle with exciting prizes including a cut, colour and blowdry from Headmasters and a 3-course meal for two at the Rookery. Fancy dress is encouraged and picnics are welcome.
Marc Stowell, Head of Fundraising, said
“The hospice gardens provide a beautiful setting for this unique cinematic experience and it is shaping up to be a really fun evening for people old and young with fantastic stalls and amazing prizes. And what’s more, every penny raised during the night will go to towards providing vital end of life care to more than 1,500 patients and their loved ones every year.”
Tickets are for sale on the Trinity website at www.royaltrinityhospice.london/event/cinema. The event is sponsored by Chestertons and run in partnership with The Nomad Cinema.
