Catch classic cinema greats at the Trinity Hospice Summer Cinema Series
This August, one of London’s most unique open-air cinema events returns to London; Trinity Hospice’s Summer Cinema Series.
Now in its fifth year, the popular cinema series is an opportunity for film buffs to enjoy a classic film under the stars against the beautiful backdrop of Trinity’s award winning gardens – all whilst supporting a great local cause!
‘The Breakfast Club’ will be showing on 19 August, followed by ‘Casablanca’ on 20 August and ‘Mrs Doubtfire’ on 21 August. Guests can bring a picnic and snack stalls and a licensed bar will be open from 7pm with films starting at sunset. Standard tickets cost £15 for adults and £10 for concessions and children under 15.
Trinity’s exclusive VIP package is also available again this year, for just £45 two guests can enjoy entry to a film of their choice, a bottle of chilled Prosecco, popcorn and other summer-time treats!
Anna MacLeod, Head of Fundraising at Trinity, says “There are a plethora of al fresco film events in London now, but few offer such a picturesque or intimate setting as Trinity’s Cinema Series. Not only will you enjoy a cult film in a stunning and unusual setting, you will also be helping Trinity to continue its vital work providing specialist end of life care and support for terminally ill Londoners and those close to them.”
Trinity Hospice is a charity based in Clapham that provides free end of life care, support and advice for people living in central and south-west London. Each year it must raise £7 million to continue its work.
