A focus on eating disorders, depression and self-harm amongst teenagers
Award winning Wimbledon charity, stem4, aimed specifically at supporting teenage mental health, is holding their first conference for G.Ps following on from their successful conferences for students, school leaders and school nurses.
This half-day conference aims to provide G.Ps with the latest information on aetiology, advances in Evidence Based Practice, and a forum for discussion on how eating disorders, depression and self-harm can be managed most effectively in primary care. Each topic will be presented by experts in the field together with a facilitated discussion on best practice. There will also be a panel discussion with representation from the RCGP.
