City Workers Needed To Row Hard
At the City Hall to raise funds for brain injury charity
The Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability (RHN) in Putney is looking for corporate teams to compete against teams from Minster Law, WSM Partners, Loans2Go, Cowan Architects, Pennington Manches, H+H Fire and Astro Communications at Row Hard for Neuro-disability, a team relay rowing challenge, on 17 June 2015 at the top of City Hall, hosted by Richard Tracey AM, London Assembly member for Wandsworth.
Row Hard aims to raise £50,000 to fund wheelchairs specially customised and adapted by the RHN’s specialist team of engineers. The wheelchairs restore independence and quality of life to adults affected by neurological disability.
Now in its sixth year, Row Hard pits 36 corporate teams of four up against each other in a 2 km relay race on Concept 2’s high-tech ergo rowing machines.
Tickets to the evening event, generously sponsored by Minster Law, include food and drink. There is also a charity auction, with prizes including a dinner for 10 in the BT Tower restaurant, a week in a holiday home in France, and a signed Chelsea shirt.

We often find that people with severe brain injuries require the use of a wheelchair, so access to one that is bespoke, comfortable and functional can make a huge difference in improving their everyday lives.
