Art on the Hill 2- 8 October 2006
Art on the Hill is a biennial exhibition and sale of contemporary artwork in aid of the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability.

Visual Arts - Sale of
prints and photographs, including limited edition prints of ‘Putney’ by John Hannah.

2nd - 8th October
Free. Location: Putney Exchange Shopping centre

Visual Arts - Preview of main exhibition, champagne party and auction of original artwork including Royal Academicians such as Ken Howard and Mary Fedden OBE, with auctioneer Nicholas Bonham.
Thursday 5th October at 7pm
Cost: £25, includes drinks and canapés.
Location: Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability, West Hill, SW15 3SW

Visual Arts - Main exhibition opens to the public, including fine art, sculpture, glassware, ceramics and patient art. Guests will also be able to purchase from the celebrity picture lottery, which includes drawings by celebrities such as Chris Tarrant, Terry Wogan, Monty Don and Jeremy Vine, all priced at £20.
6- 8 October 11am – 5pm daily

Joanna TrollopeLiterature/Poetry - Literary lunch where guests can meet bestselling author Joanna Trollope. Her novels include Girl from the South (2002) and Brother & Sister (2004). The Choir (1988), A Village Affair (1989), The Rector's Wife (1991) and Other People's Children (1998) have all been made into series for television. Joanna Trollope is also the author of several historical novels (published under the name of Caroline Harvey) and of a study of women in the British Empire entitled Britannia's Daughters (1983).

Sir Trevor MacDonaldQuestion Time Debate on art and current affairs.
Chaired by Sir Trevor Macdonald and featuring Justine Greening, Conservative MP for Putney, Liberal Democrat, Baroness Tonge, Martin Linton, Labour MP for Battersea, Rev Giles Fraser, Vicar of Putney, Radio 4 Thought for the Day and Anna Raeburn, Radio Agony Aunt, LBC.
Friday 6th October

Visual Arts - Lecture by Dr Barry Garnham on the Spanish artist, Velasquez.
Saturday 7th October
Cost: £10, includes refreshments and view of the Art on the Hill exhibition and sale

Visual Arts/children - Exhibition of art from local schools competition. The winning picture, which will be displayed on the hospital’s poster site, will be announced.
