Fact, fiction, scientific, romantic, unique and some frankly, bizarre are a few ways to describe the range of books written by this season’s authors. The fourteenth annual Authors Talking series is due to take place across local libraries from 6 May - 6 July 2004. Six renowned writers share their experiences with you and give an interesting insight into their careers, books and an author’s mind.
Simon Singh - Tuesday 6 July 7.30pm at Chiswick Library
Author of Fermat’s Last Theorem and The Code Book, Simon Singh has worked as a science journalist, a TV producer and director for the BBC TV Science Department and he completed a PhD in particle physics at Cambridge University. Simon’s illustrative talk will concentrate on the secret history of codes and code breaking.
