We are looking for Londoners to join our patient and public advisory group. From giving us your views on plans for stroke services, to telling us what you think is important in maternity care – you can help us turn ideas into actions.
Who can apply to become a member?
We welcome applications from people of all ages and backgrounds – and from all parts of the capital. Don't hesitate to apply if you have a disability or support needs.
To become a member of our patient and public advisory group, you will need to join your Local Involvement Network (LINk) for health and social care. We can help you do this.
What would I be expected to do as a member?
Attend about nine meetings a year in central London (members will be provided with relevant expenses), share your views on our plans, and work with others to shape and achieve improvements in London's health service.
How and when will members be chosen?
An independent selection panel will consider all the applications received by the 7 November 2008 closing date. Following shortlisting, two recruitment events will be held during the evenings of 18 and 20 November at a central London location, with final decisions made after that.
