Gunnersbury Triangle Club see the return of the Hounds & Sounds Festival on Saturday 12 September, bringing an energetic mix of music, dog-friendly activities and family entertainment to Triangle Way.
Presented in partnership with the GPGE Residents Association and supported by Chiswick Flower Market, the festival is set to transform the club’s grounds into a lively neighbourhood celebration. The event is sponsored by Creature Comforts.
The day begins at 1pm, when stalls and activities open across the site. Families can expect a bouncy castle, face painting, raffles, dog photography, and a wide range of food stalls offering Japanese and Caribbean dishes alongside local favourites. The festival’s community feel is central to its appeal, with residents, club members and visitors mingling in the spacious outdoor areas.
From 1pm to 3pm, the club’s sports facilities take centre stage with free tennis and table-tennis coaching sessions. Both children and adults can take part, with live-ball practice and membership discounts available for those keen to join the club. Gunnersbury Triangle Club is an independent sports and social club offering tennis, table tennis, snooker and karate to members of all ages and experience levels. Many local residents join as social members, enjoying the bar, lounge, pool table, darts and bridge nights — making the festival a natural extension of the club’s welcoming atmosphere.
Dog owners will find plenty to enjoy throughout the afternoon. The popular Dog Show sign-up runs from 1pm to 2.30pm, giving participants time to register their canine companions before the main event at 3pm. The show will be opened by the Mayor of Hounslow, adding a ceremonial flourish to one of the festival’s most anticipated moments.
As the afternoon turns to evening, the festival shifts into full musical mode. From 5pm, the main stage hosts a line-up featuring DJ Max Power, David Sinclair 4, Jay Kumar & Co, and The Tracks — a blend of local talent and crowd-pleasing performers that promises to keep the atmosphere lively well into the evening.
