Are you setting a good, green example, or do you know of a business in the Borough of Wandsworth that deserves to be nominated for the Green Business Awards 2008?  These awards are open to all businesses based in the Borough of Wandsworth who have adapted their ways of working so as to reduce their impact on the environment - but the competition will close soon - The closing date for entries is 22nd September 2008.

Whatever the size of your enterprise or scale of your green endeavours, the judges are looking for examples of commitment, innovation and actions that have a positive green influence and can be adopted by other businesses in the future. The Green Business Awards 2008 will celebrate and reward your efforts.

Don't hesitate about publicising your good work - there is still time to take part in this competition.  And if you want to talk over some of your ideas about becoming more eco-friendly and efficient, then talk to Greice at the Go Green Project and let her help you. Entries are being actively encouraged right across the borough.

All entries will be invited to Wandsworth's Green Business Awards Ceremony at the Grand, Clapham Junction on the evening of 17th November, and the overall winner will go forward to the Green Guardian's regional awards on 21st November at Epsom Race Course.
