Growing Lavender Demonstration

This is a free event

Lavender are one of our most popular plants and for good reason. They are tolerant of many garden situations, have delightfully fragrant flowers that attract butterlies and bees and can be used for culinary and medicinal purposes.

We’ll highlight the various types and give you simple advice on where and how to grow them, as well as recomending companion plants to extend the season of interest in the garden. The various uses of lavender will be explained and guidance on drying together with their culinary and medicinal uses provided.

A simple handout will be available with some easy to follow recipes.

There’s FREE Tea and Coffee and no need to book, just turn up about 5 minutes before the start time.
