Barnes Food Fair 19th September

Win tickets to a brilliant foodie day out

To celebrate this Saturday's Barnes Food Fair, we are delighted to have 2 Fair goody bags, exclusively for SW15 readers. Each bag will include 2 x entry tickets to the Fair (which is open from 10am-5pm) and 2 x cookery demonstration tickets for the Adam Byatt (chef of The Trinity) demo at 12pm and the Leiths School of Food & Wine event at 1.30pm. All demos take place at The OSO. You will also receive a bottle of wine and other goodies.

The Barnes Food Fair is a hidden gem. A lovely one day food fair featuring great producers in a grand marquee, and an outdoor street-food and picnic area with live music all day, plus fantastic events featuring some of Britain’s top chefs.

Since 2011 the Fair has raised many thousands of pounds for local charities including Age UK’s local pensioner’s centre, Barnes Methodist Church’s winter shelter for the homeless and the Barnes Community Association.

This year they ’re raising funds for Home-Start which helps families with young children deal with whatever life throws at them.

The Fair is organised by the Barnes Community Association, and apart from one part-time organiser all other work on the fair is carried out by volunteers. Funds are raised from sponsorship, stall charges and ticket sales. All profits are donated to charity.
