Win tickets to a brilliant foodie day out

To celebrate this Saturday's Barnes Food Fair on Barnes Green, we are delighted to have 2 Fair goody bags, exclusively for SW15 readers. Each bag will include 2 x entry tickets to the Fair (which is open from 10am-5pm), 2 x cookery demonstration tickets to the cookery demonstration of your choice (see list below) and other goodies from The BCA, the Fair organisers. All demos take place at The OSO, Station Road, Barnes.

Barnes Food Fair is now in its sixth year but remains a local secret! A lovely one day food fair, it features some 100 great food and drink producers in a grand marquee and outside in a street-food picnic area. There is also live music all day in the Bandstand, activities for children and even a dog crèche where you can leave your pooch while you enjoy the Fair and take advantage of everything on offer!

This year’s event also features a pop-up restaurant by Michelin-starred chef Phil Howard taking place at The Barnes Green Centre. For details on this and the rest of Barnes Food Fair, please see www.barnesfoodfair.com

Barnes Fair is organised by Barnes Community Association and a group of volunteers and is a community fundraising event. This year funds will go to support The NSPCC.

COOKERY DEMONSTRATIONS AT BARNES FOOD FAIR
10.30am-11.30am TIFFANY FARISH – author of A* in the Kitchen, a brilliant cooking handbook for students. Ideal for students to gain some essential traning!

12pm-1pm LINDSEY BAREHAM – The Times’ cook who writes the daily ‘Supper Tonight’ column, she will be making super quick and easy recipes from her new book

1.30pm – 2.30pm ALYN WILLIAMS – Michelin-starred chef from the Westbury Hotel, he will be sharing recipes and tips for your own kitchen

3pm-4pm VALENTINA HARRIS – A fount of knowledge on all aspects of Italian cookery, Valentina is a brilliant cook and presenter.

Live music all day.
