Whilst gas board engineers carry out repairs on leaking main
The works which started on Tuesday night and were scheduled to continue until sometime on Thursday - but today it has been announced that it now looks like Saturday before end of works!
While the gas main repairs are being completed, the traffic in both directions has been restricted to a single lane.
Drivers heading westbound, out of town, are restricted to a single lane of traffic between the Asda superstore at Stagg Lane and Robin Hood Way, which is just past the roundabout.
Drivers heading eastbound, into town, are restricted from three lanes down to one between Keswick Avenue, which is just past the Old Bevonians rugby ground, and the roundabout.
