New Wimbledon and Putney Commons Conservators Elected
13,000 choose five candidates in the triennial vote

The results of the triennial Wimbledon and Putney Commons Conservators election has been declared with two candidates voted in for the first time with three re-elected.
13,000 people participated in the election with the majority voting online before voting closed on 10 March. This was equal to a turnout of just over 20% of eligible voters.
Susan Bucknall and Michael Johnston will be joining the conservators with David Hince, Diane Neil Mills and Peter Hirsch continuing to serve.
The duly elected Conservators will commence their three-year term of office on Wednesday 7 April.

Every three years people living in the special levy area near Wimbledon and Putney Commons get a chance to elect five Conservators.All those on the electoral register who live within the levy area were eligible to stand as a Conservator and to vote.
The election process was handled by Civica Election Services (CES). Electors were able to vote by post or online.
